Changing your 2nd stage UV bulb

Changing your 2nd stage UV bulb

After 1 year, the Ultraviolet 2nd stage bulb filter needs to be replaced.
The UV bulb is automatically turned on if the Nebula Ice Bath is powered on. This is so that even if the water pump is not running, the UV bulb continues to kill off any residual microbes and bacteria that maybe upstream of the bulb.
The UV bulb caries 230v of electricity and should only be changed by a competent person
Required tools:
  1. Philips head screwdriver
  2. Replacement UV bulb (can be purchased from Nebula)
Steps for a correct UV bulb replacement:

Step 1 - Turn the power to the bath off. Remove the 3-pin plug from the wall socket

Step 3 - Pull the black plastic protective cap off of the silver UV bulb housing. This will reveal the UV bulb.

Step 4 - Slowly pull the bulb fully out of its silver housing

Step 5 - The bulb has cable connections at both ends. Unplug both cables from either end to complete remove the UV bulb
